Case Study - Kohler Singapore Photo and Video Shoot

Our most recent shoot with @Kohler at the Marriott Penang beautifully showcased how KOHLER® bathroom products elevate the design of the hotel’s first flagship location in Penang. Kohler Co., founded in 1873 in Kohler, Wisconsin, is renowned as a premium and luxury manufacturer of bathroom products. The Marriott Penang, with 223 elegantly designed rooms offering breathtaking shoreline views, blends contemporary sophistication with local charm, a vision enhanced by Kohler’s exquisite products. One of the key challenges during this shoot was managing reflections which is often an overlooked detail in photography. While eliminating reflections can make products appear pristine and luxurious, the goal here was to strike a balance that maintained relatability and conveyed a sense of life, showing the products in their real-world context. Through careful composition and precise lighting techniques, we created a series of images that highlighted the elegance of Kohler’s designs while preserving the natural charm of the hotel’s interior. The result? A visual story that perfectly captures how Kohler’s products contribute to the Marriott Penang’s sophisticated and inviting atmosphere.
