This case study hospitality brand project explores the process of refreshing two hotels in Ipoh through a strategic visual overhaul. What began as a request for 185 images evolved into a refined approach balancing quality, execution, and brand positioning. From initial research to on-site challenges during production, this collaboration highlights the importance of understanding context, aligning vision, and delivering purposeful visuals that truly represent the space.

My recent assignment took me to Perhentian Island for the first time, just before the monsoon season. The trip was a mix of logistics, light packing challenges, and quiet reflection at the airport. Amid the rush, I was reminded how composition often comes from subconscious observation — isolating frames from endless possibilities. This Perhentian Island photography journey was both a creative and personal reminder of why remote assignments are always worth it.
